Q: How long should we sell?

A: 10 days to 2 weeks is recommended, but not longer than 4 weeks.

Q: How should we advertise?

A: We suggest putting an ad in the local paper, post flyers and put announcements on organization's web page. Of course if you set up your sale early, you can also take advantage of the free advertisement provided by our web site. Click here.

Q: How do I store and distribute the products?

A: Your group should make arrangements to deliver the products the same day you receive delivery. The sausage and bacon is delivered fresh and must be kept refrigerated at all possible times. If it cannot be delivered to your customer the day it is received, it must be frozen. The chicken fritters are delivered frozen and must be kept frozen until you deliver it to your customer. Check with your school cafeteria or local grocers about freezer space.

Q: When are profit sharing checks sent out?

A: Profit sharing is paid on minimum orders or above and are mailed out the first week of January for fall orders and the first week of May for spring orders.

Q: When can I order boots?

A: We recommend you order boots as soon after your sale as possible in order to utilize them as an incentive for your top salesperson(s). You must order them before May 1st. For a listing of the boots available click here.

Q: Can I get a follow-up order?

A: Yes. However, if it does not meet our minimum order requirements, it will be delivered as soon as we are back in your area, usually within two weeks.

Q: What is the minimum order?

A: If your group is only selling sausage, the minimum order is 200 packages. If your group is only selling bacon, the minimum order is 120 packages. If your group is only selling chicken fritters, the minimum order is 100 packages. For mixed orders, if you meet the minimum order for one product, then there is no minimum for the other two products.
